Research
Identify the needs of infosec professionals in a mobile app since there were none at the time that catered to their market.
Findings
Due to the unavailability of a mobile app for the infosec professionals, they were spammed regularly by vendors, unable to connect with new professionals and to receive any dedicated curated news.
Defined User Personas & Flow
The findings from our research and user testing were instrumental in defining the types of users who would benefit most from our mobile app. This data-driven approach allowed us to identify specific user profiles and tailor the app's features and user experience to meet their unique needs and preferences effectively. By understanding our user base in depth, we were able to ensure that our app was not only functional but also highly relevant and valuable to our target audienc
Visual Design
Given the constraints of a tight timeline, we sought inspiration from LinkedIn's design framework and gleaned insights from our existing web application. This approach enabled us to move swiftly into the visual design phase.
Our design strategy for the app was meticulously aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on user sign-ups, engagement with content, and extending the duration of user browsing sessions. Each design element was thoughtfully crafted to optimize these metrics, ensuring that the app not only appeals visually but also drives user interaction and retention effectively.
